1. 010 - Ticket
One of the many extravagances I allow myself (and I do mean many) is a series subscription to the Seattle Symphony. I supplement the series concerts with individual concerts from some of the world’s top performers (provided they aren’t already in the series).
The highlight of tonight’s concert was a performance by Joshua Bell; one of my favourite violinists, and one of the top violinists in the world. He performed Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor.
Also performed tonight (by the symphony only) was Weber’s Overture to Der Freischütz, Mozart’s Symphony No. 25 in G minor, and Weber’s Overture to Oberon.
